Voltshare wins Brighton Startup Roadshow

Voltshare, an EV charging platform for destination and hospitality venues, has been announced as the winner of the Brighton Startup Roadshow 2025. The event brought together founders, investors, and the larger startup ecosystem for networking and a startup pitch competition.

Organised by South East Angels, the Startup Roadshow aims to showcase early-stage founders and foster growth in startup communities across the South East. The series includes events in Brighton, Guildford, Canterbury, and London, providing entrepreneurs with valuable opportunities to connect with investors, gain exposure, and receive constructive feedback.

The Brighton event featured a competitive pitch session where five promising early-stage startups from various industries presented their ventures. Voltshare stood out among the pitches, impressing the judges with their proven traction and scalable go-to-market approach.

Voltshare is an EV charging solution specifically designed for hotels, pubs, B&Bs, and leisure venues. With over 800 chargers deployed across 500+ sites, the company has established itself as the go-to solution for holiday homes and destination venues. The platform combines simple-to-use technology with a flexible, no-contract model that generates profit for venue owners without costly fees.

Alison (Voltshare CFO) says:

"We're thrilled to have won the Brighton Startup Roadshow and grateful for the opportunity to share how Voltshare is tackling EV charging accessibility in the hospitality sector. The event was a fantastic platform to connect with investors and fellow founders who are working on ambitious ideas."

Yasmin Muneer (South East Angels) says:

“Alison did a fantastic job showcasing Voltshare’s value to both venues and consumers, and we were impressed with the team’s experience and their ability to scale this with speed. Their revenues reflect validation in their model, and the solution smartly utilises unused space at hospitality venues."
