Siloton wins Startup Roadshow Health 2026

Siloton, a photonic chip medical imaging company, has been announced as the winner of the Startup Roadshow Health 2026. The event, first in Startup Roadshow 2026 series, brought together founders, investors, and key players from the healtech ecosystem.

Organised by South East Angels, the Startup Roadshow aims to showcase early-stage founders and foster growth in startup communities across various growth sectors. The series includes events covering Health, Energy, Fintech, Robotics, and Cyber, providing entrepreneurs with valuable opportunities to connect with investors, gain exposure, and receive constructive feedback.

The healthtech event featured a competitive pitch session where five promising early-stage startups presented their ventures. Siloton stood out among the pitches, impressing the VC judges with the team's technical expertise, groundbreaking technology, and market opportunity.

Siloton specialises in miniaturised optical technology for medical imaging, using photonic chips to compress complex optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems onto a chip smaller than a £1 coin. The company's innovative approach addresses critical healthcare challenges in detecting and monitoring major diseases including age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, and certain cancers.

Dr. Alasdair Price (Siloton) says:

"We're thrilled to have won Startup Roadshow Health and are grateful for the opportunity to share how Siloton is transforming access to critical eye imaging. The event was a fantastic platform to connect with investors and fellow founders who are passionate about innovation in healthcare"

Jake Fox (South East Angels) says:

Alasdair delivered a compelling pitch that displayed an impressive technological leap in this space, as well as showing how they were the team to tackle the commercial opportunity. Startup Roadshow continues to be the community to connect with top-tier founders at the early-stages of their businesses.
