Sue Walter appointed South East Angels Non-Exec Director

South East Angels has announced that Sue Walter has been appointed as Non-Executive Director joining Alex Cowell and Founder Kristina Pereckaite on the board.

Sue Walter has 30 years of experience across a wide range of fast-growing organisations and in-depth knowledge of private members clubs. She has held a number of senior leadership positions, including Global CEO of the family members club and CEO of The Hospital Club, where she spearheaded the club’s turnaround into an award-winning concept.

Sue Walter's appointment comes as South East Angels continues its impressive growth trajectory. Founded by Kristina Pereckaite, the organisation has rapidly gained recognition in the South East of England as an exclusive members club for successful individuals, offering more than just traditional angel network services. Their unique business model, which blends startup investment opportunities with learning and socialising, has resonated with high-net-worth individual angels in the region and as a result the group's members have invested £1.05M in startups to date.

South East Angels has set a clear mission to become the most active and the most valuable community for angels in the region. The addition of Sue Walter to the team represents a strategic move to further enhance the group's capabilities and drive this ambitious goal. Sue's extensive experience in leading private members clubs and her track record of transforming organisations into award-winning concepts make her an invaluable addition to the organisation.

The appointment of Sue Walter as a Non-Exec Director marks an exciting chapter in the journey of South East Angels. As they continue to disrupt the traditional angel investing landscape and create a nurturing environment for both investors and startups, the organisation is set for even more significant growth in the future.

Kristina Pereckaite, Founder and Director of South East Angels, says: “We are committed to challenging the status quo of the traditional angel group and creating a valuable experience for investors. We are absolutely delighted to have Sue Walter join our team to support us on this mission.”

Sue Walter, Non-executive Director at South East Angels says “I am delighted to join this dynamic and disruptive community of investors. I am very much looking forward to working with Kristina and the team to fulfil South East Angel’s growth and impact ambitions”
