South East Angels backs meet DWIGHT to automate back-office workload

South East Angels is pleased to announce its investment in meet DWIGHT, an automation-as-a-service platform that builds, deploys and maintains software bots to handle repetitive middle and back-office tasks for staffing firms and outsourcers.

The seed stage equity investment will support the company's growth as it scales its client base across the UK and USA, where staffing agencies routinely spend significant operational resource on high-volume, process-driven work — including candidate onboarding, payroll and invoicing.

Founded by Dries De Coster, meet DWIGHT addresses a well-established operational problem: the staffing sector runs on a large number of interconnected legacy systems that don't talk to each other, requiring human staff to manually move data between platforms all day. The company's proprietary platform combines robotic process automation (RPA) with agentic AI to build bots that can operate across multiple systems simultaneously without requiring API access, system changes, or lengthy implementation projects. Unlike pure AI agents, which can produce unpredictable outputs, the RPA execution layer ensures deterministic, auditable actions at 95–99% reliability.

"We're building the digital workforce that firms need to scale without adding headcount," said Dries De Coster, CEO. "The back office is full of work that is too complex and too cross-platform for simple automation, but too repetitive and rules-based to justify skilled human time. That's exactly the gap we fill.”

"meet DWIGHT is bridging the gap for more traditional businesses with legacy systems to start to automate time-intensive workflows. The meet DWIGHT team have built something that solves a real problem in sectors they understands well, and the early results speak for themselves." — Jake Fox, Syndicate Lead, South East Angels.
