Zonova wins London Startup Roadshow

Zonova, an antimicrobial medical device technology company, has been announced as the winner of the London Startup Roadshow 2025. The event, the last in the Startup Roadshow 2025 series, brought together founders, investors, and key players from the startup ecosystem.

Organised by South East Angels, the Startup Roadshow aims to showcase early-stage founders and foster growth in startup communities across the South East. The series includes events in Brighton, Guildford, Canterbury, and London, providing entrepreneurs with valuable opportunities to connect with investors, gain exposure, and receive constructive feedback.

The London event featured a competitive pitch session where five promising early-stage startups from various industries presented their ventures. Zonova stood out among the pitches, impressing the judges with the team's credibility, clear pitch and impressive technology..

Zonova embeds patented antimicrobial technology directly into medical devices to tackle hospital-acquired infections at the source. The company's innovative approach helps reduce microbial growth on medical device surfaces, reducing infection risk and the need for antibiotics - combatting antimicrobial resistance.

Unlike traditional antimicrobial coatings, Zonova's technology is fully incorporated into medical devices including urinary catheters, cannulas, endotracheal tubes, and feeding tubes. The solution seamlessly integrates into existing manufacturing processes while providing over 99.99% effectiveness against key hospital pathogens, offering a non-toxic, antibiotic-free solution to prevent infections and improve patient outcomes.
